Mickleover 1 (Mann 90+3')
Bromsgrove Sporting 0
A late goal from Ethan Mann ensured Mickleover would claim all the points from a very close encounter.
The centre back was on hand to knock in Brendon Daniels' free kick from close range in the third minute of added time.
Sporting stopper Ollie Taylor had to be alert to keep out an Andrew Dales effort in the fourth minute, whilst Keanu Cooper had a shot blocked soon after up the other end that looked destined for the net.
Taylor had to be alert once more in the 15th minute, as he kept out an Oliver Greaves shot from an acute angle.
Further opportunities came the visitors' way in the remainder of the half, as Billy Shaw narrowly missed the target from the edge of the area before Jack Newell had a volley blocked.
Chances continued to be shared in the second half; Daniels saw a 55th minute free kick palmed over smartly by Taylor and, six minutes later, Shaw capped a sharp counter attack with a shot that went just wide.
Another opportunity fell the way of Shaw in the 67th minute - this one was saved well by Lewis Ridd. Tyrell Waite almost headed Mickleover into the lead with 16 minutes remaining but he couldn't find the target. The winner came via Mann striking home from six yards via a Daniels assist.
