Coalville Town 1 (T. McGlinchey 33')
Bromsgrove Sporting 0
A Tom McGlinchey strike was the difference between Coalville Town and Bromsgrove Sporting on Saturday afternoon, as the Ravens ran out 1-0 winners.
The game's only goal came 33 minutes in, courtesy of McGlinchey slotting the ball into the bottom corner from inside the box.
Bromsgrove's Peter Abimbola and Coalville's Scott McManus both had early shots on goal blocked, before Tim Berridge scuffed a 22nd minute effort wide for the home side.
The match winner came eleven minutes later, via McGlinchey easing the ball into the net with a neat finish.
McManus almost doubled the lead soon after, but his header from a free kick was guided straight into Ollie Taylor's grasp.
The lively Terell Pennant had a couple of chances for Coalville inside the first 20 minutes of the second half; both of these were saved smartly by Taylor.
Sporting's Miro Pais put a decent opportunity over the bar with 15 minutes remaining, before Tom McGlinchey put a free kick over the bar nine minutes later.
The Rouslers ended the game with a flourish - Pais had a shot saved in the first minute of added time, which was followed by captain Luke Rowe putting a terrific corner into the box that somehow managed to evade everybody, despite defender Ben Richards-Everton's best efforts to get on the end of it.
