Bromsgrove Sporting 0
Stamford 2 (Offler 39' Miller 62')
Stamford's unbeaten start to the league season continued at the Victoria Ground, courtesy of a 2-0 win over Bromsgrove Sporting.
Headed goals from Ashton Offler and Ricky Miller, both via Connor Bartle free kicks, succumbed Sporting to their third successive home defeat of the campaign.
Winger Miro Pais had an early opportunity to get on the scoresheet for the Rouslers, but he wasn't able to find the target with his effort.
Bromsgrove striker Prince Henry almost continued his fine form in front of goal, but his 31st minute shot from inside the box was saved smartly by the feet of Stamford keeper Daniel Wallis.
The 34th minute saw Harry Vince shoot over the bar for the away side - five minutes later, the opener came, as a tantalising Bartle free kick from just outside the area was headed home well by Offler.
The lead was doubled 17 minutes into the second half, as another Bartle free kick, this time positioned out wide, was headed into the net with aplomb by Miller from close range.
Lee Shaw had two chances to make it three afterwards, but both his strikes were well saved by Ollie Taylor.
Henry and Callum King-Harmes had inviting chances to halve the deficit in the final moments, but both were unable to test the keeper with their respective efforts.
