Bromsgrove Sporting 0
Leiston 0
Despite a hatful of great opportunities, Bromsgrove Sporting were unable to make the most of them against Leiston, as the two teams played out a goalless draw.
Leiston's Jamar Loza forced a fine save out of Ollie Taylor in the 10th minute, before Callum King-Harmes headed a golden opportunity wide for the Rouslers from inside the area seven minutes later.
The 28th minute saw Sporting enjoy another chance, and it was another header, as Keiron Berry guided a Jack Newell cross into the path of keeper Sam Donkin.
Bromsgrove had a couple of decent chances late in the half, as Conor Tee rifled a tasty volley into the grasp of Donkin before Aaron Roberts struck the ball through a wall of bodies, only to see his effort hit the post.
Loza put a strike wide from close range four minutes into the second half. Moments later, Berry got on the end of an Ollie Taylor long ball but he could only hit the crossbar from inside the area.
The game became rather scrappy as the minutes ticked by. Bromsgrove substitute Miro Pais had the best chances in the final stages; he had a one on one saved by the feet of Donkin in the 74th minute and, in additional time, a well struck drive of his was palmed away well by the Leiston stopper.
