Royston Town 1Â Stephenson 13', Beckett Red Card 90+5'
Bromsgrove Sporting 1 Benbow 90+7' P
Bromsgrove Sporting ended a run of four losses with a 1-1 draw at Royston Town.
A Luke Benbow penalty at the death salvaged a deserved point for the Rouslers, after Ollie Stephenson had given the home side the lead in the 13th minute.
Sporting almost took the lead in the eighth minute, when a corner routine resulted in Kian Ryley putting a dipping effort over the bar.
The deadlock was broken five minutes later, when Stephenson capped a good move with a finish into the bottom corner from inside the area.
Bromsgrove had a massive chance to level proceedings in the 27th minute, when the ball fell to defender Luke Softley - he saw his shot tipped over the bar in fine style by Reuben Rabstein.
Billy Shaw narrowly headed the ball wide in the 69th minute, before James Brighton put a free kick narrowly wide for the Crows 10 minutes later.
Substitute Isaac Godwin almost bagged the equaliser with six minutes of normal time remaining - he made a good connection with his strike, but it was just off target.
The game's frenetic ending began in the fifth minute of added time, when Royston's Harvey Beckett was sent off for an elbow to the face of Shay Willock inside the box.
Benbow stepped up to take the spotkick, and placed it in the bottom corner, ensuring Bromsgrove would be taking a share of the spoils back to Worcestershire.
