Bromsgrove Sporting battled back from a poor defensive display in the first half to claim a share of the points, with home team Coventry Copeswood the more grateful to hear referee Hall's final whistle.
The home team took the lead after only 2 minutes, Petajon Gordon rode several half hearted and ineffective challenges from Bromsgrove defenders before side footing the ball past Reece Francis.
Sporting had a great penalty appeal waved away by Referee Hall after Jon Rogers was pulled back by Stuart Adamson in the area on 17 minutes.
Rogers equalised for the visitors on 33 minutes, collecting Chris Conway's flick before rounding keeper Scot Furlong and sliding the ball into the net.
Curtis Jackson restored Copsewood's lead on 37 minutes firing home from e edge of the area after Sporting unnecessarily lost the ball in midfield.
Worse was to follow just before the interval, Craig Civelis scoring from the penalty spot after Aaron Roberts had brought down Jackson in the area.
Kicking down the slope in the second half the visitors dominated the play and got a goal back on 62 minutes when Nick Martin scored from close range after great work by James Blake.
Conway equalised for Sporting on 69 minutes turning on the edge of the area and firing a low shot past Furlong.
Referee Hall continued to baffle players and supporters alike with his decisions and finished the game with cautions into double figures in a game that was played mainly in good spirits between Two competitive teams
