Bromsgrove Sporting 0
Royston Town 1 (Anyadike 61')
Royston Town extended their unbeaten run to six matches, courtesy of a victory over Bromsgrove Sporting.
Damaray Anyadike's goal was the difference between the two sides, scored just after the hour mark. This brought the Rouslers' own unbeaten spell of five matches to an end.
Bromsgrove started the game brightly enough, with Tristan Dunkley and Aaron Roberts both having attempts on goal - neither could find the target however.
Dunkley sliced a strike over the bar in the 29th minute from near the penalty spot. Five minutes later, Royston skipper Adam Murray had a shot from inside the area deflected onto the post that went out for a corner.
Sporting ended the 45 brightly, as Conor Tee struck the ball just over the bar before a cross of his was headed onto the post by Keanu Cooper and subsequently tipped away by keeper Louis Chadwick on the stroke of half time.
Ayo Lekuti had a shot blocked for the home side in the 53rd minute; the goal came eight minutes later, as a flukily blocked clearance fell kindly to Anyadike, who simply tapped the ball into an empty net.
The Crows had chances afterwards - Anyadike almost doubled his tally soon after but his strike was saved by Ollie Taylor and substitute Danny Baulk volleyed the ball over from inside the area with mere minutes remaining.
