Bromsgrove Sporting 1 (Henry 71')
Redditch United 2 (Flanagan 73' & 85' Pen)
A brace from skipper Reece Flanagan helped Redditch salvage victory over Worcestershire rivals Bromsgrove Sporting.
Prince Henry gave Bromsgrove the lead with a little under 20 minutes remaining before Flanagan netted a free kick and a penalty to secure all three points for United.
The early stages of the game saw Sporting enjoy plenty of chances - the best of which being a Callum King-Harmes drive that went just wide.
Kieron Berry almost got his name on the scoresheet in the 36th minute, but his curled effort went narrowly wide.
The best chance of the opening 45 came late on, as Conor Tee saw his free kick well saved by Adam Harrison.
Five minutes into the second half, a well struck Berry effort was brilliantly kept out by Harrison.
Shortly after, Redditch's Jenson Cooper intercepted a poor David Solademi backpass but his strike was saved by Ollie Taylor.
The opener came 71 minutes in, as good work out wide from Berry allowed him to tee up Henry, who chested the ball down before coolly slotting home.
Two minutes later, Flanagan levelled the scores up with a brilliant 25 yard free kick, with Taylor only able to get fingertips to it.
The winner came five minutes from time, as Flanagan struck his penalty into the bottom corner after Aram Soleman was contentiously adjudged to have been brought down in the area.
