Bromsgrove Sporting 8 (Boothe 4' & 70', King 16', Rowe 48', Meddows 50', 52' & 90+1', Roberts 66')
Pershore Town 2 (Tilbury 55', Hussain 58')
Scott Adey-Linforth's first game as interim manager of Bromsgrove Sporting following the departure of Paul Smith saw the Rouslers demolish Pershore Town 8-2 in the Worcestershire Senior Cup.
A Jamie Meddows hat-trick and Ryan Boothe brace, along with goals from Reece King, Luke Rowe and Aaron Roberts, ensured Bromsgrove would cruise through to the semi-finals of the competition, where they will face either Alvechurch or Stourbridge.
Ben Tilbury and Zaq Hussain scored the goals for the visitors.
The deadlock was broken four minutes in, as King headed a corner into the path of Boothe, who slotted home from close range.
Boothe almost doubled up 11 minutes later, but his shot was saved by keeper Dominic Hill.
The second came in the 16th minute, as King headed home a Rowe corner with aplomb.
Rowe and Boothe had chances shortly after King's goal, but neither were able to capitalise on them, whilst Ryan Snape had an effort cleared off the line just before half time after rounding Hill in the Pershore goal.
Sporting would only have to wait three minutes in the second half to bag their third, as Rowe headed home a Meddows cross with venomous accuracy.
A flurry of four goals then followed in a chaotic eight minute period; a Meddows deflected effort made it 4-0 in the 50th minute before the former Stourport Swifts man made it 5-0 with a well taken free kick two minutes later.
The Plums pulled two back in quick succession after that, as Tilbury headed a cross home before Hussain found the net from a one on one position.
Roberts headed over the bar in the 62nd minute but, four minutes later, Sporting's record appearance holder did get on the scoresheet, as he smashed home the rebound from Ethan Patterson's saved header.
Meddows had two fierce efforts saved around the 70th minute mark, with Bromsgrove's seventh being scored moments later, as King knocked a corner into the path of Boothe, who headed home for his second of the night.
Sporting substitutes Zac Powell and Carter Lycett had strikes saved late on, before the game's tenth and final goal was scored in the first minute of added time. Jack Newell won the ball in midfield with a thunderous tackle; Lycett subsequently found Meddows in the box, who tapped home to complete his hat trick and a comprehensive victory for the Rouslers.
