Bromsgrove Sporting 2 (Cooper 36', Ball 90+7')
Hitchin Town 1 (Wilkinson 87')

Bromsgrove Sporting made it four league games unbeaten on Saturday afternoon, courtesy of a last gasp victory over Hitchin Town.

Makeshift centre forward Keanu Cooper gave Sporting the lead in the first half before Finley Wilkinson levelled for the Canaries with three minutes of normal time remaining.

The winner came in the seventh minute of additional time, as substitute Elliott Ball headed home from inside the box.

The Rouslers started the game brightly, with Conor Tee and Ayo Lekuti both having efforts that were saved by keeper Charlie Horlock.

Hitchin's first chance of the match came in the 13th minute, as Arnold Matshazi had a strike on goal charged down by Sporting stopper Ollie Taylor.

Lekuti headed over an Aksum White cross in the 29th minute; seven minutes later, the opener came, as Cooper slotted home from inside the six yard box after the ball was put on a plate for him by Tee.

Cooper almost doubled his tally two minutes from half time, but his attempted lob over Horlock was just wide of the mark.

Sporting winger Callum King-Harmes had a couple of opportunities in the second half; the first being a shot over the bar before an effort from close range, with twelve minutes remaining, that was struck straight at Taylor.

The equaliser came as Wilkinson struck the ball through a melee of bodies, going into the net via a deflection.

Snelus almost won it in the 90th minute with a free kick from range, but Taylor tipped it wide smartly.

However, it would be the home side who claimed all three points, as a delicious cross from White was headed into the bottom corner by Ball.

A pleased Bromsgrove manager Mike McGrath commented: "To get the winner at the end is always nice. I thought we made hard work of it and we could have put it to bed earlier, but Hitchin are an energetic team and we matched them."

A disappointed Hitchin boss Mark Burke said: "We got ourselves back into it and I thought we was going to get a point but credit to Bromsgrove, they fought to the end and scored a good goal."
