Bromsgrove Sporting 1 (Tee 39' P)
Alvechurch 1 (Gordon 84' P)

It was a penalty apiece at the Victoria Ground on Tuesday evening, as Bromsgrove Sporting and Alvechurch played out a 1-1 draw.

Conor Tee added another goal to his season's tally with six minutes of the first half remaining before substitute Jaanai Gordon levelled it up in the 84th minute.

The early stages of the game saw Tee narrowly miss the target with a couple of well struck efforts from distance. Alvechurch's first chance came 27 minutes in, as Jack Concannon saw his neatly hit free kick tipped brilliantly wide by Ollie Taylor.

Sporting enjoyed more efforts prior to the opener; Callum King-Harmes had a shot saved by Bradley Foster after skilfully beating several defenders and Kartell Dawkins drove the ball straight at the Church stopper.

The penalty came after former Rousler Ammar Dyer was adjudged to have felled Aksum White in the box -Tee stepped up and confidently sent Foster the wrong way.

Alvechurch enjoyed more of the opportunities in the second half. Ben Cassidy had a couple of chances but was unable to truly test Taylor in the Sporting goal, whilst another ex-Bromsgrove player, Mikey Taylor, tamely hit the ball at his surname namesake with 20 minutes of normal time remaining.

The pressure eventually told, as Gordon did what Tee did in the first half and sent the keeper in the wrong direction with an assured spotkick.

He almost doubled his tally late on but scuffed a chance from a decent position. Up the other end, Sporting captain Luke Rowe had an effort blocked away for a corner and defender David Solademi was unable to convert after the ball somewhat unexpectedly landed at his feet deep inside the area.
