Biggleswade Town 0
Bromsgrove Sporting 1 (Meddows 20')
A Jamie Meddows first half strike helped guide Bromsgrove Sporting to victory at Biggleswade Town.
The Sporting attacker neatly slotted home with his left foot in the 20th minute, after being teed up perfectly by winger Harry Crook.
The 14th minute saw Biggleswade's Nagheeb Ibrahim have a shot blocked shortly before Crook almost put the visitors in the lead, but he wasn't able to find the target with his shot from an acute angle.
The only goal of the game came six minutes later, as Meddows continued his fine start to the season with a strike that found the bottom corner with aplomb.
The Waders had some opportunities to equalise late in the half, but Cyrus Babaie and Ibrahim were both unable to find the target with their respective efforts.
Babaie had a couple of chances early in the second half but Sporting stopper Charlie Price was equal to both.
Moments later, Crook had an opportunity saved from close range before Bromsgrove defender Aaron Roberts had a close range shot deflected for a corner.
The 67th minute saw Price make an outstanding save from an Eddie Panter strike from a one-on-one position.
The final 20 minutes were very few on clear cut chances, with Labaie unable to make the most of an effort in the fifth minute of additional time.
