OPPOSITION

  • This season: P37 W10 D6 L21. 36 points. GD -41. They sit 20th (of 22 teams).
  • This season (away): P18 W4 D3 L11. 15 points. GD -23.
  • Last five league games: D1 L4
  • Last five league away games: D2 L3
  • Most recent match: 2-5 loss at home to Banbury (Tuesday)
  • Most recent away match: 1-0 loss at Biggleswade (25th March)
  • Only Hitchin (8) and Biggleswade (4) have won fewer games in the league this season than Lowestoft (10). Only Spalding (5) have drawn less than their 6 and no team has lost less (21 – tied with Biggleswade).
  • The Trawlerboys have conceded the most in the league (90) and have the worst goal difference (-41).
  • It’s the same story for their away league games; most conceded (51) and worst goal difference (-23).
  • In terms of their last five league games, they have the worst current record in the league (D1 L4). They have conceded the most in the league (14) and, once again, have the worst goal difference (-11).
  • They have conceded five goals in their last two matches (the aforementioned Banbury game and a 0-5 home defeat to Spalding last Saturday).
  • They have the longest current losing streak of any team in the league – four losses (Banbury, Spalding, Biggleswade, and a 3-1 defeat at Halesowen).
  • In a league table of every side’s last 10 league games, they are bottom (on goal difference; 6 points and -13 GD). They have won once in that period (Hitchin, H, 2-1), have conceded the most (23) and have the worst goal difference.
  • They have failed to win in any of their last six away games (D2 L4).
  • In all league games, they have failed to win in their last seven – their last win being the Hitchin win (their only win in their last 15 league matches).
  • They drew three matches in a row after that Hitchin win, but lost seven consecutively before that. Their last win before that was Redditch away (3-4, 4th Jan – which was their last league win on the road). There was no win in six on the road before that.
  • They beat Barwell 1-0 at home in the game before the Redditch win. Since that Barwell win, they have kept 1 clean sheet in 16 (a 0-0 home draw vs Kettering on 15th Match).
  • Their only away clean sheet in the league this season was in a 0-2 victory at Banbury (30th Nov). This was also their last away win before the Redditch victory
  • Lowestoft’s last six goals have been scored by Kyle Haylock and the impressive Harvey Sayer, who is on 22 goals from 37 appearances for the season (as per Lowestoft’s website – he leads the way for the Suffolk side on both goals and appearances this season).
