Bromsgrove Sporting 3 (Robinson 5' & 49' P, Lycett 39')
Lowestoft Town 1 (Cole 69')
Lowestoft Town's chances of league survival were dented further, as Bromsgrove Sporting inflicted their fourth defeat in a row upon them.
Theo Robinson gave Sporting an early lead before Carter Lycett scored a 39th minute screamer. Robinson doubled his tally for the afternoon from the penalty spot early in the second half; Travis Cole pulled one back for the Trawlerboys in the 69th minute, but the Rouslers would go on to bag an important three points.
The opener came five minutes in; Billy Shaw ducked and dived his way into the box and saw his cross palmed by Warren Burwood into the path of Robinson, who tapped in from mere yards out.
Captain Reece King and Robinson both had efforts saved by Burwood but he was unable to keep out Sporting's second, which was an incredible Lycett strike from 25 yards that hit the underside of the crossbar before going in.
The third was scored four minutes into the second half; the spotkick was given for a handball offence and Robinson slotted it into the bottom corner.
Lowestoft's Joe Duffy had a couple of efforts before Cole found the net from a one on one position to give the away side a glimmer of hope.
Robinson and Jamie Meddows both had shots saved for the home team, whilst Kyle Haylock had an 88th minute pop from range saved well by Charlie Price.
