Quorn 2 (O'Boyle 52', Kee 85')
Bromsgrove Sporting 1 (Sanches 21')
Bromsgrove Sporting's hopes of making it three wins in a row were thwarted by Quorn on Tuesday evening, as the Leicestershire-based side ran out 2-1 winners.
Gus Sanches did give the Rouslers the lead going into the interval, but goals from Finn O'Boyle and Billy Kee saw the home side come out on top.
Sanches almost opened the scoring 11 minutes in, but he could only guide his strike straight at Quorn keeper Tom Allsopp after latching onto the end of a through ball.
The deadlock would be broken 10 minutes later, as Sanches capitalised on a slight defensive mistake to take the ball around Allsopp and guide it home into an empty net.
The 31st minute saw Sporting stopper Adam Harrison called into action, saving an effort from Cain Noble that made its way through a melee of bodies along the way.
The equaliser came seven minutes into the second half, as O'Boyle completed a decent move by tapping home from mere yards out.
The 81st minute saw Quorn have a couple of chances in quick succession, but the ball stayed out the goal as Bromsgrove frantically defended their lines.
The winner was scored with five minutes of normal time remaining, as Kee was in the right place at the right time to take advantage of a Sporting defensive mishap and divert the ball into the net.
Noble had an opportunity in added time to double the lead, but his effort was saved by Harrison.
