- Bromsgrove Sporting U10 Girls. The girls played an exciting home fixture against Nunnery Wood Girls, filled with end-to-end action. From the first whistle, both teams displayed great energy and commitment, making for a fast paced and competitive first half. The Bromsgrove girls showcased their best performance of the season, demonstrating fantastic teamwork, skill, and determination. Despite the strong opposition, they remained resilient and created some excellent attacking opportunities while staying solid in defence. In the second half, Bromsgrove carried on with the same level of determination, battling for every ball and pushing forward in search of opportunities. The game remained incredibly close until the final whistle, reflecting the effort and passion both teams put into the match. This weekend sees Bromsgrove play away at Nunnery Wood.
- Bromsgrove Sporting U13 Girls. They don’t have a league fixture, so will be looking to arrange friendlies. You may have seen Roisin’s story on Sporting’s social media – she plays for our U13 Girls side and sadly broke the top of her tibia and detached her ACL playing in a game, which she required surgery for. Sadly, she won’t be able to play for a while, but the lads sent her a get well soon message and also gave her a signed shirt!
- Bromsgrove Sporting U18 Girls. They travelled to Old Wulfrunians on a very muddy pitch and came away with a worthy 1–1 draw, despite only having 11 players following late pull outs. The team started well enough and were quickly on the attack, probing the Old Wulfs defence but were unable to break through. When the Old Wukfs attacked, they were repelled and, overall, the first half was a well fought battle between two good teams. The second half saw Sporting attack even more and were rewarded with a well taken goal after 65 minutes. A determined opposition kept on banging on the door and were rewarded with a well taken opportunity. The game was end to end, with legs getting weary and no substitutes for Bromsgrove! However, they were determined, having multiple corners but, ultimately, no goals – a good game ended 1-1. Bromsgrove play third placed Coundon Court at home this weekend.
- The Under 18s are recruiting, as well as the Ladies First Team and Development Team.
