- Bromsgrove Sporting U10 Girls. They played away at Kidderminster Lions; the girls had a very slow start first half and Kidderminster did not let up, finding it very hard. After a few key changes and a half time team talk, Bromsgrove came out strong in the second half and made the game more competitive, showing a lot of determination. Their next game is against Newtown Sports at home.
- Bromsgrove Sporting U13 Girls. A 1-0 home win vs Meadow Park. The pitch survived the weather but Storm Bert made football conditions very difficult. Sporting started brightly, putting Meadow Park under pressure right from the start, with a couple of good chances going narrowly wide. Shortly after, Sporting won possession with a good tackle on the edge of the box and Gracie took her chance with a shot that flew into the top corner. For the most part, the rest of the game was a good battle between two committed sides. Chances were few and far between, with the conditions playing a part, but Sporting did a great job of getting the ball down and playing a good passing game. Sporting managed a couple of decent ranged efforts which were well saved and, in the later stages, a golden chance fell for Sporting after a mix-up in the Meadow Park defence – unfortunately, Sporting were unable to get the shot off. The Sporting defence was solid as always and another clean sheet was very impressive. They travel to Droitwich Spa Ravens this weekend.
- Bromsgrove Sporting U18 Girls. Wanting to push on the previous week’s good 3-1 win v Inkberrow, the girls were unfortunately thwarted by Storm Bert and there is no game this weekend because of the opposition postponing.
