- Last season: P40 W12 D9 L19. GD -21. 45 points.
- This season: P16 W6 D2 L8. GD -2. 20 points. They sit 16th (of 22 teams).
- This season (away): P8 W3 D1 L4. 10 points. GD -1.
- With 16 league goals scored this season, only bottom place Biggleswade (15) have scored less. However, their defence is fairly strong – with 18 goals conceded, only Banbury (15) have better defensive record of all the teams in the bottom half at present.
- Alvechurch’s two league draws this season have both been 1-1 results (AFC Telford United 15th Oct A & Harborough 13th Aug H).
- Alvechurch won their most recent league game, at home to Bedford (1-0, last weekend). Prior to that, their form had been dismal, losing four league games in a row and only picking up one point in a spell of seven league games (their last win before that was on 14th Sept, Halesowen 1-0 H).
- Only Biggleswade (2) have picked up less points from every side’s last five league games.
- They are winless in their last four away league matches (D1 L3), the most recent being a 2-1 defeat at Leiston (12th Nov). This proved to be former manager Jimmy Fry’s final game in charge. Their four away league games prior to that saw them win three and lose one, with their last away win being on 9th Sept at Redditch (0-1). Their last point on the road was the aforementioned Telford game.
- They head into this game off the back of a 3-0 Birmingham Senior Cup win at Highgate on Tuesday.
