Redditch United 3 (Flanagan 31', Warburton 45+4', King 49')
Bromsgrove Sporting 0 (Benbow Red Card 76')
Redditch United recorded their seventh consecutive win over Bromsgrove Sporting on Monday afternoon in comprehensive fashion.
First half goals from Reece Flanagan and Matt Warburton gave the home side a commanding lead going into the interval, before a third from Danny King early in the second half put the result beyond any doubt.
Sporting stopper Adam Harrison had to make a big save five minutes in, saving an Alex Cameron strike after he was played in by former Rousler Aram Soleman.
The 14th minute saw Bromsgrove's Aksum White make an incredible marauding run forward, but a last ditch tackle stopped him in his tracks just outside the area.
The deadlock was broken 31 minutes in, as Redditch skipper Flanagan converted from close range.
Sporting were dealt a sucker punch in the fourth minute of first half added time, as they were unable to deal with a sharp Redditch attack, which resulted in Warburton finding the net via the post.
Redditch continued where they left off as the second half commenced, with the third goal duly scored four minutes in - Cameron had a shot saved by Harrison but King was on hand to power in the rebound.
Three minutes later, Bromsgrove's Luke Benbow had a deflected attempt tipped wide for a corner by Reds keeper Tyrese Warmington.
Harrison had to be alert to make a save from another Cameron effort in the 64th minute and, six minutes later, he did find the goal with a shot, but it was ruled out for offside.
In the 76th minute, Benbow was sent off after a foul he committed saw him receive his second yellow card of the afternoon - adding more misery to what was a dismal afternoon in the Bank Holiday sunshine.
