Report
Bromsgrove Sporting moved up to 4th place with a comfortable victory over Heather St Johns.
Although the visitors played attractive football for long periods of the game once the Rouslers had got two goals in front the result never appeared in danger.
The first goal took 12 minutes and came from visiting defender Grant Ryder who could only steer Josh McKenzie's low cross from the right past his own keeper from 6 yards under pressure from Chris Conway. Craig Jones had a header cleared off the line by Adam Bilic, Sam Wills had a shot deflected for a corner and when Wills hit a thunderbolt into the top corner from 25 yards that gave Scott Handley no chance on 29 minutes the talk around the Victoria Ground was about how many Bromsgrove would win by.
The specific conversation only lasted 7 minutes because Kiam Galdins hit a fine shot from the edge of the area to reduce the arrears and on 42 minutes a fine run from ex-Rousler Jacob Snape forced a fine low save from Jake Bedford.
The Rouslers restored their 2 goal advantage just before half time with McKenzie coolly lifting the ball over Handley from just inside the area after a decisive run and pass from Conway.
Heather again reduced the deficit on 64 minutes when Snape evaded a series of tackles inside the area before sliding the ball home from 6 yards, but Bromsgrove again restored their two goal advantage for a third and final time when Conway capitalized on hesitant defending to hit a super low shot across Handley and into the net.
