Bromsgrove Sporting 1 (Charles 69')
Quorn 5 (Kee 35', Cobourne 40' & 66', Cox 53', O'Boyle 89')

Bromsgrove Sporting's six match unbeaten run at home came to a juddering halt on Tuesday, courtesy of a 5-1 dismantling at the hands of Quorn.

Goals from Billy Kee and Simeon Cobourne gave the visitors a healthy lead going into the interval before Luke Cox and Cobourne netted to put the result beyond any doubt.

Jaden Charles notched up his first Sporting goal in the 69th minute, but substitute Finn O'Boyle re-established the four goal lead in the final moments.

The Methodists dominated the early stages but the scores remained level - that was until the 35rd minute, when Kee made space for himself inside the area and slotted home comfortably into the net.

The prolific Zak Goodson sliced a brilliant opportunity wide moments later, but he would be involved in the second goal 40 minutes in - his shot was saved by Sporting stopper Rory Brown, but Cobourne was on hand to knock in the rebound.

The Rouslers' woes were compounded eight minutes into the second half, as Luke Cox headed home.

Goodson almost made it four for Quorn in the 57th minute, but his strike was saved by Brown. Up the other end, Billy Shaw and Charles both put chances narrowly wide of the target.

Cobourne doubled his evening's tally in the 66th minute with a neatly curled effort from inside the area.

Charles salvaged a crumb of pride for Sporting three minutes later, hammering home a well taken volley from around 10 yards out.

O'Boyle hit the crossbar from distance in the 88th minute - 60 seconds after, he chalked up Quorn's fifth, courtesy of a shot into the bottom corner from close range.

Shaw and substitute Gus Sanches had late opportunities for Sporting, but both were kept out by former Sporting keeper Adam Harrison.
