PLAYER OF THE MONTH: Wynne on January award win

Earlier this month, midfielder George Wynne marked winning Player of the Month for January.

George celebrated the award with assistant manager Leon Broadhurst – George’s sponsor for the season is New Jersey-based fan, Tim Reeb!

George won January Player of the Month with 39% of the vote, beating Aaron Roberts, Tyrone Lewthwaite and Rory Brown to the prize!

Quality performances in our matches with Bury Town and Stamford – the former of which saw George win Player of the Match – were undoubtedly factors in the combative central midfielder winning the award.

On receiving the award, George said: “I’m grateful for this award, and I’ll keep giving my all for the team and fans, who have been very welcoming.

“Hopefully we can finish the season strong and stay up. Thank you to everybody at Bromsgrove Sporting for this opportunity.”

A thoroughly deserved award for George, in what has been a fantastic spell at Sporting so far.
