PLAYER NEWS: Prince Henry Returns

Bromsgrove Sporting are delighted to announce the return of exciting striker Prince Henry.

Prince will be no stranger to Sporting fans, having chipped in with some vital goals at the back end of last season before carrying on his fine goalscoring form this season, which included a brace in our 4-0 away win at Royston Town and goals in our Emirates FA Cup successes over Ashby Ivanhoe and Barwell.

Manager Mike McGrath comments: “Prince returns after spells at Redditch and Barwell. He started the season well with six goals, which attracted the attention of Redditch, who came in with a financial offer I couldn’t match.

“It didn’t really work out for him there, which can happen in football. You can join a team and a manager that, for different reasons, just doesn’t suit you and, as a young player, you just lose confidence.

“I’m hoping Prince can find that confidence once again and have a strong second half of the season. We are in need of more goals, so its up to him now to show that he is capable of scoring consistently at this level.”

Prince is available for selection against Redditch tomorrow.

We hope you will join us in welcoming Prince back to the Victoria Ground!
