NOVEMBER PLAYER OF THE MONTH: Jak Hickman receives his award

Bromsgrove Sporting’s November Player of the Month, as voted for by the fans, Jak Hickman, received his award, sponsored by Ace Embroidery, before our Southern League Premier Central game versus Kings Langley on Tuesday evening.

Jak, who secured 41% of the vote, celebrated the occasion with club chairman Mike Burke, who gave him his specially made award.

He is sponsored for the season by Falcon Contract Flooring – falconcontractflooring.com

Despite only playing two games for Sporting in November (having arrived at the club in the same month), Jak was voted as the Fans Man of the Match in both of these matches –  the 3-2 win versus St. Ives Town and our 1-1 draw against Royston Town, both at the Victoria Ground; these were undoubtedly factors in the defender winning the accolade.

On receiving the award, Jak commented: “Thank you for the award – it’s really appreciated.

“A big thanks also to everyone involved with the club for making me feel so welcome and making it easy to settle in.

“We have a lot of games over the Christmas period, so let’s keep this run going and keep climbing that table!

“Support us and keep that Shed rocking for us. You guys make a huge difference for us! Let’s have it!”

We are sure you will join us in congratulating Jak on winning the award.
