NOVEMBER PLAYER OF THE MONTH: Jack Newell Receives His Award

Bromsgrove Sporting’s November Player of the Month, Jack Newell, received his award before Saturday’s 1-0 league win over St Ives Town.

Jack marked the occasion with Sporting’s Media Officer Max Banner, who was representing his sponsor for the season, Cris Anscombe. A bottle of champagne was given to Jack to celebrate.

A month of ultra-consistent performances, including a herculean effort in the 2-0 win over Barwell and a goalscoring performance in the 2-2 away draw with St Ives Town, were undoubtedly factors in the midfielder winning the award.

Commenting on winning this award, Jack said: “It’s obviously a nice feeling getting Player of the Month, but keeping our unbeaten run going in the league has been the most pleasing aspect for sure.

“We’ve played some strong teams and everyone has played a part, so the credit must go to all the lads and the coaching staff.

“I’m loving my time here at the moment. We’ve got a really good dressing room and I think it’s showing with recent results and performances.

“As always, the fans have been excellent throughout and all the players and staff are very grateful for the support they give us.”

Congratulations Jack on winning the award!
