SPORTING SIDES: RESULTS & FIXTURES ROUND-UP
The men’s and women’s first teams were the only Sporting sides to have played in the last week, with the weather cancelling every other game.
- First Team: After beating Bishop’s Stortford on Tuesday evening, they face Leiston at home on Saturday (3:00 KO).

- Ladies: On Sunday, a very poor first half saw Redditch Borough take a comfortable 3-0 lead in to half time. After words at half time, the Ladies did respond with more intensity and purpose – a solid second half eventually saw the score finish 4-2. The Sporting goals were scored by Charlotte Wallis and Amy Kendall. This weekend, the Ladies are in Worcester County Cup Quarter Final action at WMRFL Premier side Kidderminster Harriers Women (2:00 KO).

- Girls. U10 v Inkberrow. U13 v Meadow Park. U18 v Leafield. The Girls’s set-up is recruiting for a brand new U8 team – please contact Alan Williams on 07786 983 951 for more info. Sessions are on a Monday night at Bromsgrove School. The U18s are also looking to add players to their established side – contact Alan for more info.
NON LEAGUE NETWORKING

BISHOP’S STORTFORD INJURY UPDATE
- As you may have seen during our Twitter/X commentary of Tuesday night’s game, Bishop’s Stortford player Jaden Ogwuazor received just before the second half began – we are extremely pleased to hear a positive update from Bishop’s Stortford that he is doing okay.
- Bishop’s Stortford have contacted us to pass on their gratitude for our concerns, and also to thank our sports physiotherapists Dan and Alfie for their help on the night.
