NEW ADDITION: Jor Blimey – Lyden Signs!

Bromsgrove Sporting are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Jordan Lyden.

The 28 year old, who was most recently plying his trade at National League North side Hereford, started his career with Aston Villa, where he made first team appearances.

He has also accrued Football League experience with Oldham Athletic, Swindon Town and Leyton Orient.

On joining Sporting, Jordan commented: “I’m delighted to be coming into a decent dressing room. I came in Thursday and they welcomed me in really well so obviously that’s a great start for me and hopefully I can get the boys and the team up the table, where the club belongs.

“I’ll be looking to bring my ball playing ability to the table and I’ll inject quite a lot of experience – having played at a higher level my whole career – so I’m hoping to deliver that on the pitch. It was a massive three points against Royston, which were thoroughly deserved, and long may that continue.”

Manager Scott Adey-Linforth commented: “I’m really pleased to welcome Jordan to the club. He’s a top player, with a brilliant attitude, and fits exactly what we’re trying to build here at Bromsgrove.

“He has many qualities and will only make us stronger going forward.”

We hope you will join us in welcoming Jordan to the club!
