COACHES’ CORNER: Scott Adey-Linforth Previews Royston Town

Ahead of Saturday’s league match, at home to Royston Town (3:00 KO), manager Scott Adey-Linforth has spoken about the opposition and preparation’s following a weekend off…

“Tomorrow sees us entertain Royston Town, in what promises to be a difficult fixture. Royston are always a competitive side and it makes for an exciting game in store.

“We were disappointed with our last game being called off against Bishop’s Stortford – we had prepped well and were ready to go.

“However, the break has given us chance to reset as a group. The lads have trained extremely well and are looking to take that energy into Saturday’s game.

“We know we started our last home game poorly, so we want to make sure this doesn’t happen again. As a group, we’ve been creating a lot chances recently and we fully believe we’ll start to convert these chances into goals.

“Your support over the Christmas period is going to be vital and we’re all looking forward to seeing, and hearing, you tomorrow afternoon.”
