Bromsgrove Sporting are thrilled to announce our tenth new addition ahead of the 2026/27 season – hugely experienced midfielder Joe Doyle-Charles from Hednesford Town!
The combative central midfielder joined the Pitmen in November 2024, making him another member of their squad who enjoyed back-to-back promotions during his time there.
Sporting fans will be familiar to Joe from his time at Coalville Town, where he was captain. He played 214 games for the Ravens, a handful of which would have been against the Rouslers in the Southern League Central.
From there, he played National League North football at Leamington, before moving to the Pitmen in the autumn of 2024.
On joining Sporting, Joe commented: “I’m absolutely delighted to be signing for Bromsgrove, especially as it’s a place I’ve always enjoyed playing at over the years.
“The club is moving in the right direction, and it’s exciting to be part of that journey. Hopefully, we can help bring some exciting times back and create plenty of great memories for the supporters!”
