Stourbridge 3 (Verma 52', Sumnall 71', Rowe 82', White Red Card 32')
Bromsgrove Sporting 3 (Benbow 35', Lyden 45', Hall 75' P, Roberts Red Card 50')
Six goals and two red cards were shared between Stourbridge and Bromsgrove Sporting in a pulsating encounter on Saturday afternoon.
Bromsgrove took a two goal and one man advantage into the interval, via goals from Luke Benbow and Jordan Lyden, along with Aksum White being given his marching orders.
However, goals from Jai Verma and Jenson Sumnall brought the Glassboys level, whilst a red card for Aaron Roberts brought the teams to 10 players apiece.
Sporting re-took the lead through a Kobe Hall penalty, but the home side were to have the final say, as Luke Rowe found the net from inside the area.
The 32nd minute saw Zidan Sutherland, one of six former Rouslers in the Stourbridge starting line-up, put a header wide from a great position.
Moments later, another former Bromsgrove player, Aksum White, was sent for an early bath after a last man challenge on Billy Shaw. The resultant free kick, which was taken by Benbow, looped into the goal courtesy of a hefty deflection off the Stourbridge wall.
The lead was doubled on the stroke of half time - Ezewele surged into the box and found Benbow, who held the ball up and allowed Lyden to thump it home from close range.
Despite the two goal deficit, Stourbridge came out after the break all guns blazing, with one of the six former Sporting players, Joe Hull, hitting the woodwork with a header in the 49th minute.
A minute later, Roberts was shown red for another last man offence, this on Aaron Bishop, continuing the theme of former Rouslers being involved with the afternoon's big events.
And, once again, it was a case of a sending off being followed by a goal, as the subsequent free kick saw the ball laid off to Verma, who found the net with a sensational strike from over 30 yards out.
The leveller came in the 71st minute, as Sumnall diverted the ball home with an accurate header.
Shaw won another pivotal set piece opportunity for Bromsgrove with 15 minutes of normal time remaining, when he was brought down in the penalty area. Substitute Hall stepped up to take it, hammering the ball down the middle of the goal.
The game's sixth and final goal aptly came from a former Bromsgrove player, as Rowe netted from around 10 yards out to send the home fans into scenes of rapturous celebration.
