Bromsgrove Sporting 6 (Hayward 4' & 81', Ebbutt 38' & 58', Kettle 32', Shorrock 84') Worksop Town 0
Bromsgrove Sporting ran riot on Saturday afternoon, smashing six past Worksop Town in a comprehensive win.
Nathan Hayward opened the scoring after four minutes, courtesy of a simple tap in after some haphazard Worksop defending.
Joel Kettle doubled the lead in the 32nd minute, as a sumptuous Cameron Ebbutt free kick was diverted in by the Sporting defender.
Ebbutt was soon on the scoresheet himself, as he executed a brilliant first touch before striking the ball into the bottom corner from 20 yards six minutes later.
The Bromsgrove winger notched his second in the 58th minute, as he capitalised on some more indifferent defending from the Tigers by pouncing on an attempted clearance and shooting home.
The goal of the game came nine minutes before time; a pinpoint Will Shorrock cross was acrobatically volleyed in by Hayward, who was also bagging his brace.
The demolition job was complete in the 84th minute, as a Demetri Brown run forward was capped by Shorrock slotting in with ease.
