Bromsgrove Sporting 1 (Flint 71')
Stourbridge 2 (Hayward 82', Newall 90')
Stourbridge came from behind to bag a valuable three points against Bromsgrove Sporting at the UK Electrical Stadium.
Fresh from last weekend's massive derby win over Halesowen Town, goals from former Rouslers Nathan Hayward and Jack Newall were enough to steer the Glassboys to victory, after Niall Flint had given Sporting the lead.
Newall headed wide for Stourbridge in the early stages, before Theo Robinson had a shot saved in the 25th minute.
A minute later, Robinson had the ball in the back of the net, but it was ruled out for offside.
Late in the first half, Luke Softley produced a fine block to keep out a Charlie Pavey shot, before Sporting had a brace of chances, as Jack Newell had a shot from distance saved before Kyle Belmonte hit the post directly from a corner.
The 47th minute saw Robinson brilliantly turn his defender, only to put the ball wide from a one-on-one position. Moments later, Sporting stopper Rory Brown made good saves to keep out efforts from Liam Brazier and Newall.
The opener came in the 71st minute, as Flint got onto the end of a Jack Newell long ball and neatly slotted home.
Luton Town-loanee Charlie Trustram volleyed just wide, before two headed goals, from Hayward and Newall, both from set piece situations, left Sporting with nothing.
