One goal separated the two teams at the Victoria Ground, as Coalville Town ran out the winners.

The game's only goal came in the 14th minute, as Tim Berridge struck home sweetly from inside the box.

The eighth minute saw Berridge put the ball in the net, but the assistant referee's flag was up for offside.

Moments later, a Luke Shaw strike was blocked off the line smartly by defender Toby Raison.

The game's only goal came courtesy of the prolific Berridge, who brilliantly got through the defence before shooting home into the bottom corner with his right foot from just inside the area.

In the 27th minute, Coalville had a flurry of chances in quick succession, but Callum Ebanks and Josh Dugmore were on hand to block them away with last-ditch blocks

30 minutes in, Shaw had an effort from an acute angle saved by the feet of keeper Aaron Clayton.

Five minutes into the second half, Sporting's Jamie Molyneux had a shot saved by Tiernan Brooks.

Just shy of the hour mark, Shaw hit the side netting from close range.

With 12 minutes remaining, Jonathan Letford struck the ball straight at the keeper. Soon after, he sent a diving header narrowly wide of the post, after winger Will Shorrock delivered an inviting cross into a dangerous area.
