Bromsgrove Sporting 3 (Meddows 3', Robinson 60 & 76')
Biggleswade Town 0
Bromsgrove Sporting took a massive step towards securing their Step Three status with victory over Biggleswade Town.
The Rouslers' top two scorers for the season bagged the goals; Jamie Meddows scored the game's early opener before Theo Robinson netted a second half brace.
The deadlock was broken four minutes in, as Meddows curled the ball into the net from just over 20 yards out with his simply magical left foot.
Two minutes later, Meddows played in Robinson, but his shot from inside the area trickled just wide of the goal.
The eighth minute saw Biggleswade's Marcus Goldbourne unleash a well taken free kick that Sporting stopper Charlie Price kept out in fine style.
The Waders arguably enjoyed more of the ball throughout the remainder of the first half and started the second positively too, with Goldbourne having a shot deflected wide before Josh Steele had a header blocked away from a corner.
The lead was doubled on the hour mark via a nicely worked team goal; substitute Jordan Lyden found Billy Shaw, who put the ball on a plate for Robinson to score from close range.
With 14 minutes of normal time remaining, Bromsgrove made it three. Meddows' initial effort was well saved by Biggleswade keeper Jack Berman, but Robinson was in the perfect place to knock in the rebound.
