Bromsgrove Sporting could count themselves unlucky not to take anything back to Worcestershire on Saturday afternoon, as they narrowly lost 2-1 to Bishop's Stortford.
Makise Evans put the home side into the lead against the run of play after 24 minutes, before Luke Benbow levelled proceedings 14 minutes later.
The Rouslers conceded just five minutes later, as Saleem Akanbi spectacularly netted what turned out to be the match winner.
The visitors started the game brightly, with Billy Shaw and debutant Ethan Young both having early opportunities to break the deadlock.
The opener was scored after Evans got on the end of a pinpoint cross to find the goal from close range at the back post.
Bromsgrove's equaliser came via a good team move - Tom Edge found Josh Ezewele, who teed up Benbow to find the bottom corner with an accurate drive.
After Sporting were unable to clear their lines, Akanbi netted from around 25 yards at an acute angle with a wonderfully curled strike.
Jake Thompson put a header wide for the hosts four minutes into the second 45 - the first chance of a half that Sporting dominated.
Billy Shaw saw a golden one-on-one opportunity hit the side netting in the 54th minute, before Edge had a couple of shots saved by Stortford keeper Adam Hayton.
Substitute Kobe Hall had a great chance to level proceedings in the 89th minute, but his glancing header from an inviting Jack Kelly cross went narrowly wide.
