AFC Sudbury 2 (M. Lewis 16', Pearce 35')
Bromsgrove Sporting 2 (Shaw 45', Hall 61')
Bromsgrove Sporting came from two goals down to bag a point at AFC Sudbury on Saturday afternoon.
Marcel Lewis and Liam Pearce fired the home side into a commanding advantage, but a Billy Shaw strike just before half time and a Kobe Hall goal just after the hour mark helped the Rouslers land a deserved share of the spoils.
Sporting started the game very brightly, with Jaden Charles missing the target with a curled strike from a decent position and Charlie Pavey hitting the post from inside the area inside the first 10 minutes.
Tom Edge blocked an effort from Pearce well in the 13th minute before Pavey, Shaw, and Hall all had superb opportunities to net in quick succession 15 minutes in - finding either the Sudbury defence or woodwork to be in their way.
The deadlock was broken after 16 minutes, as Lewis neatly slotted home a shot from close range. He almost doubled up three minutes later, but a free kick of his was palmed away well by Sporting stopper Rory Brown.
The Suds would have their second goal in the 35th minute, as Pearce calmly found the bottom corner from inside the area.
Bromsgrove halved the deficit at a crucial juncture - on the stroke of half time to be precise - as Shaw stylishly netted from the edge of the box.
The 60th minute saw Bromsgrove's Josh Ezewele clear a Charlie Lewis header off the line - a minute later, Sporting equalised, as Edge teed up Hall to score from mere yards out.
The Rouslers almost took the lead three minutes later, as Pavey's impressive strike on the half volley was saved nicely by Sudbury keeper Lennon MacLorg.
The final moments saw the home side dominate, with substitute Kaidon Tower-King hitting the side netting from a promising position before Brown made a sensational fingertip save to send a Sudbury strike over the bar in the fourth minute of additional time.
