OPPOSITION

  • Redditch beat a youthful Kidderminster Harriers side 6-1 on 1st December to get to this semi final.
  • A four match winning league streak came to an end on Saturday, with a 3-0 defeat at league table toppers Spalding United.
  • This winning streak saw them 0-1 wins at Stourbridge and Alvechurch, as well as 3-1 and 5-2 home wins versus Halesowen and Barwell respectively
  • Prior to that winning run, they went on a winless run of five matches (D2 L3)
  • In the midst of that winning run was a penalty shootout victory over Solihull Moors in the Birmingham Senior Cup (1-1 AET – a game in which outfield player Matt Warburton played the majority in goals, including the penalty shootout itself, which they won 3-1)
  • Since the win over Kidderminster Harriers, they have played seven times at home – their record being W4 D1 L2. They are unbeaten in three at home (the two aforementioned wins and a 0-0 draw versus Bishop’s Stortford). Their last home defeat was a 1-4 defeat versus Worcester City on 3rd January.
