Before Tuesday night’s win against Redditch United, we collected our award for winning the Southern League Premier Central team of the month for December.
Our management team of Bren Kelly and Andy Mason received the award from Southern League Director Stephen Hyde.
The award, sponsored by Greenfields UK, saw us presented with an engraved glass memento to mark our success, along with a cheque to be spent on Pitch Maintenance.
Sporting played five league games in December, winning four and drawing one. Wins came at home to Kings Langley (4-1), and away to Stratford Town (1-2), Needham Market (0-3), and Alvechurch (1-4). The sole draw came at home to AFC Rushden & Diamonds (0-0).
