Bromsgrove Carnival
It is carnival day in Bromsgrove so the town centre will be busy and there is a road closure in the middle of the town.
The closure is not expected to be lifted until at least 2:30 pm so supporters travelling from the south of the town (and we assume that this will include Hereford fans) are advised to stay on the A38 by-pass around the town going across the A38/A448 roundabout and that by the Premier Inn then take the next left turn on to the Birmingham Road north of the town. The Victoria Ground is about ¾ mile on the right.
As the town centre car parks will be inaccessible until around 2:30, we advise the best place to park is the Artrix/HoW College car park accessible from the A38 by-pass by turning left at the Premier Inn/Brewers Fayre/David Lloyd roundabout. This is a pay-and-display car park using a mobile phone. The Victoria Ground is about a 10-minute walk via the footpath on the right at the top of School Drive by the south end of the Artrix.
Alternatively, there is usually plenty of (free) parking on Burcot Lane behind the Crab Mill pub on Birmingham Road and is also about a 10-minute walk.
