Ahead of Saturday’s league match, at home to Leiston (3:00 KO), manager Scott Adey-Linforth has spoken about the opposition, Tuesday night’s win and the latest player news…
“Tomorrow, we host Leiston, who will be a very tricky proposition.
“As a group, we’re really looking forward to returning home after a great win Tuesday night at Bishop’s Stortford. We’ve been on a good run of late and we are determined as a group to keep it going. What is guaranteed is that we will continue to keep working hard and improving to ensure this.
“I respect Leiston a lot – they’re a very good team, who play an attractive brand of football, and we will have to be at our best to take something out of this game.Â
“On the player front, Ethan Patterson has signed dual registration forms with Stafford Rangers to get some minutes. We were delighted to welcome Jack Newall back into the squad on Tuesday night following an ankle injury that has kept him out over all of the Christmas period and, finally, I’d like to say a big congratulations to Archie Thurston, who made his first team debut for us – hopefully many more to come!
“As always, thanks go to our fans for your support, and we look forward to seeing you tomorrow!”
