COACHES’ CORNER: Bren Kelly previews AFC Rushden & Diamonds

Ahead of Saturday’s Southern League Premier Central home match versus AFC Rushden & Diamonds (3:00 KO), manager Bren Kelly has previewed the fixture, looking at the importance of our last home game of 2019.

“It’s an extremely important and pivotal game in the month of December for us, as we take in Rushden & Diamonds this weekend.

“The 8-2 result earlier in the season will have no influence whatsoever on Saturday.

“We are in good form and we want it to continue – as always, we will do all we can to win and try spread some Christmas cheer for the VG faithful.

“I’d like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and I look forward to seeing you all on Saturday.

“I want you to be very loud and very proud please! Make the VG bounce!”
