OPPOSITION
- 2024/25 league position: 4th (Northern Premier League – Midlands Division. Step Four. They made the play-offs, from which they got promoted).
- Last season: P40 W23 D4 L13. GD +31. 73 points.
- Last season home: P20 W15 D1 L4. GD +28. 46 points.
- This season: P11 W2 D5 L4. GD 0. 11 points. They sit 18th in the league.
- This season home: P6 W1 D3 L2. GD -1. 6 points.
- Last league match: Bishop’s Stortford. 2-0 win. Home. Saturday.
- With five league draws this season, only Leiston (6) have drawn more. They’ve already drawn more league games than the entirety of last season (4).
- With 12 goals conceded in the league this season, only Harborough (5) and Alvechurch (11), who are both currently in the play-offs, have conceded less. In the bottom half of the league, they have the joint best defence in terms of goals conceded (with St Ives – who sit 12th).
- Their win against Bishop’s Stortford on Saturday was significant – it was their first league victory after a run of five matches without a win (D2 L3) and their first win in all competitions after a run of eight matches without a victory (in 90 minutes). Their last win prior to that (and only other win this season) was at Halesowen (0-3, 25th August).
- The Stortford win was their first home win of the season, after five matches (D3 L2) without success (and seven in all competitions, D5 L2).
- In cup competitions this season, they were knocked out via a replay vs Step Three Chasetown in their first match in this year’s FA Cup (First Qualifying Round) but beat Step Four Rugby Town via a penalty shootout in their first match in this year’s FA Trophy (Third Qualifying Round).
