Bromsgrove Sporting are delighted to announce the return of popular midfielder Billy Shaw.
Billy, who won two Goal of the Month awards and the April Player of the Month accolade at the back end of last season, left Sporting earlier this season, joining local rivals Redditch United.
However, he is back at Bromsgrove now and, speaking about his return, he commented: “It’s good to be back. I can’t wait to get back out on the pitch, play for Bromsgrove again and see all the fans.
“I want to get back into the team and start scoring goals like I did at the end of last season. We won quite a few games then and I helped contribute with goals and assists – hopefully that can continue now I’m back.”
Manager Scott Adey-Linforth commented: “I’m buzzing to have Billy back. He’s well liked in the group and brings a fearless attitude.
“His quality and versatility brings a different dimension to our attack and I am thrilled he is back with us.”
