COACHES’ CORNER: Scott Adey-Linforth Previews Alvechurch

Ahead of Saturday’s league match, a massive local derby at home to Alvechurch (3:00 KO), manager Scott Adey-Linforth has spoken about the match, last weekend’s game and some positive player news…

“Tomorrow, we host local rivals Alvechurch, in what promises to be an exciting derby game.

“This will be my first derby game since taking charge and I’m very excited to be a part of it.

“In our last fixture against Sudbury, we were extremely unfortunate not to bring back some points. But, after the performance, the group is in extremely good spirits and is looking forward to tomorrow’s fixture.

“We have trained well this week and we’re confident we can impose our style on a strong Alvechurch side.

“Like me, Tim Flowers has only recently taken charge, so we will be expecting a very strong performance from our visitors.

“We were boosted by the news this week that Charlie Price has committed to stay with us, following a seven-day approach from another club.

“I see Charlie as one of the best goalkeepers in the league and I am delighted he’s shown commitment to stay. His leadership and presence, both on and off the pitch, is vital for our group and will be huge for us going forward.

“As ever, your support is massively welcomed and will play a huge part in boosting our home form moving forward. See you tomorrow.”
