Bromsgrove Sporting 1 (Robinson 30')
Banbury United 2 (Reilly 15', George 52')
Over 1000 people were in attendance for Bromsgrove Sporting's Athletic Bilbao-themed celebrations for Non League Day - unfortunately, it was visitors Banbury United who were victorious, by a one goal margin.
Harry Reilly gave the Oxfordshire outfit the lead before striker Theo Robinson equalised for the Rouslers.
The winner was scored seven minutes into the second half, courtesy of an AJ George strike.
Reilly scored 15 minutes in, capitalising on a fumble by Sporting stopper Charlie Price to tap home into the net.
The leveller was scored after half an hour; a long ball from Reece King was knocked down by Billy Shaw, who teed up Robinson to acrobatically strike the ball into the goal.
The game's eventual winner came via a daisycutting strike from distance by George; another goal Price would have wanted to forget in a hurry.
Robinson almost doubled his tally for the afternoon two minutes later, but his headed effort from a Jamie Meddows cross went wide.
New Sporting addition George Atwal almost made an instant impact off the bench, with his cross into the area being headed wide by captain King in the 68th minute.
Sporting huffed and puffed for an equaliser and almost found it in the third minute of added time - Robinson's close range effort was spectacularly kept out by Banbury keeper Jack Harding.
