A comfortable enough win to send Sporting through to the next round of the Evesham Hospital Cup but in fairness Inkberrow had to play the best part of the match with ten players. Tom Whitehead handled the ball on his own goal line on the 38th minute earning him an early bath and a penalty for Sporting that Joe Brookes converted though Inkberrow 'keeper Dan Danson did get a hand to it.

Ten minutes earlier Mikey Stewart gave Sporting the lead with his first for the club then after the penalty and with the home side well on top Karl Fellowes and Chris Conway got one each giving Bromsgrove a four goal lead at half-time.

Chris White gave the visitors a bit of hope when he caught the Sporting defence knapping just before the interval with a well-taken strike but it was always going to be an uphill struggle and that proved to be the case as Joe Brookes converted another penalty, Nicky Martin got his first for the club and Mikey Stewart scored his second on 76 minutes.

Inkberrow will probably feel they were hard done to and with eleven men on the pitch Sporting would have had to work a bit harder for their victory.
