NEW ADDITION: Prolific striker Jordan signs

Bromsgrove Sporting are pleased to announce the signing of exciting striker Jordan Wilson from Ashby Ivanhoe FC.

The 24 year-old forward has been in fine form this season, netting 30 goals in just 21 games. He has also enjoyed a successful spell at Carlton Town, and another when he played his football in Sweden.

Former Shrewsbury Town scholar Jordan also counts Kettering Town and Mickleover Sports amongst his previous clubs.

Jordan commented: “I’m really happy to sign for Bromsgrove, after having a lot of interest this season.

“I’m excited at the prospect of working with the gaffer and Gary (Birch, assistant manager) and kicking on for the rest of the season and scoring goals.

“I want to thank Ashby for all they have done and supporting my move to Bromsgrove.”

Manager Gavin Hurren commented: “I’m really happy to get Jordan across the line.

“We’ve seen off a few clubs to get him because, as you can imagine, there was lots of interest. He’s scored 30 goals already and we’ve only just gotten to December so, as you can see, he’s got an eye for goal.

“He will strengthen the squad. It may take him a couple of weeks to get up to the speed but definitely, with strength, power, quick feet, and finishing, I’ll think he’ll be a real success for Sporting and for the future of the club.

“He’s at a great age now where he can develop and work with me, Gary, and the lads. I’m really looking forward to seeing how he hits the ground running.”

We hope you will join us in welcoming Jordan to the Victoria Ground!
