LADIES & VETERANS TEAMS: Results And Fixtures

The following is an update on Sunday’s results for our Ladies and Veterans Teams, plus news of both of their respective next fixtures.

LADIES TEAM

  • ‘A lot of respect to Welland Ladies’ said Sporting Ladies manager after they played with just 10 players . For 60 minutes, Welland kept it to 2-0, then Sporting took control and went on to win 10-0.
  • Player of the match was Laura Shanley, who scored four times. Debutant Isabella Brookes added two, as did Ellie Nash and Amy Kendall. Meg Revitt completed the scoreline.
  • The Ladies face a massive away match this Sunday (5th December), as Sporting (1st) play Worcester City Ladies (2nd).
  • Kick off is 2:30. The address is Claines Lane, Worcestershire, WR3 7SS.

VETERANS TEAM

  • There was no game for the Vets on Sunday just gone, but they travel to Coleshill this Sunday (5th December) for the Third Round of the County Cup. A win puts them into the Quarter Finals.

Two brilliant starts to their respective seasons – all the best to both teams this coming weekend!
