MATCH DETAILS: Important arrangements for Saturday’s game

The following is a list of arrangements for Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup tie against Grimsby Town, including turnstile info, segregation info and more. A match preview covering other match details will follow later today.

  • Only spectators with tickets will be allowed into the ground.
  • Due to the large amount of fans attending the match, note that it is likely that anyone getting to ground after 12pm MAY not get through the turnstiles and checks in time for kick off. Getting there early is the advice. Turnstiles open 11am.
  • There is no spectator parking at the Victoria Ground. The best options are to use the town centre car parks particularly School Drive (B60 1AY) and the Parkside Medical Centre (B61 0AE).
  • The match is segregated. Sporting fans in the North End (The Shed End), Grimsby fans at South End (The Town End). Sporting fans will also have access to the standing areas either side of the dugouts and outside the Rouslers Bar. The area under the canopy outside the Sports Bar is reserved for spectators in wheelchairs, etc.
  • Anybody trying to bring banned items (including alcohol) into the ground will be refused entry.
  • Sporting fans are encouraged to enter the ground via the turnstiles at the Shed End. Grimsby fans to use the main turnstiles. Players and officials to use the reception office.
  • In terms of the Thomas Jones Stand, Block A is for Grimsby, the rest is for Sporting. First come first served, but spectators are being asked to give priority to those who cannot stand for whole match, as the stand is expected to be full.
  • The Rouslers Bar will be for Sporting fans and the Sports (Lower) Bar for Grimsby fans.
  • As well as the food kiosk and snack bar, additional food outlets will be available, including one for doughnuts and another for fish & chips.
  • There will be no pass outs at half-time, expect for emergencies. Anyone leaving the ground will not be allowed back in.
  • Do not come to match if you are showing symptoms of COVID-19. If you have been a close contact of someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 and are unvaccinated, please do not come. If you have been a close contact and are double vaccinated, please carefully consider your decision.
