Bromsgrove Sporting’s U21s had a weekend off, after their fixture against Solihull Sporting U21s was cancelled.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the away game was postponed; the second time this season that this had happened between these two teams.

The team are now focusing on the build-up to their next matchday, where they will face league leaders, Stourbridge U21s.

“Looking forward to this week’s training session, we will look to keep the intensity levels high, as we prepare to take on the league leaders,” said joint manager, Mark Reeve.

The Rouslers faced Stourbridge in October where they suffered a 2-4 home defeat – the team’s only loss of the season so far.

“We are relishing the fixture, which we hope will be a good benchmark to see how far we have come,” added Mark.

Stourbridge sit at the top of the table with 32 points, whilst Bromsgrove have had third place snatched from them by Bedworth United U21s, who won their home game against Diamonds Academy 6-1 last weekend.

Looking to the weekend, the U21s will arrive with extra sprinkling of experience in their ranks, following Bo Morris’ debut for the first team during their 8-2 Worcestershire Senior Cup win over Pershore Town last Tuesday.

Leading Sporting that evening was then-interim manager Scott Adey-Linforth, who was unveiled as the club’s new official manager on Monday.

Reflecting on his involvement, the 17-year-old said: “It was a really good experience being able to be involved with the squad and making my debut for the club.

“The lads and the gaffer made me feel at home which helped me feel comfortable when I got onto the pitch and was playing.

“The fans were great as well and showed good support. Hopefully there’s more to come,” said Bo.

Bromsgrove Sporting U21s will travel away to Dudley to face Stourbridge U21s on Saturday 23rd November at the Priory Road 3G Football Complex, kicking off at 10:30am.

**NOTE – this Saturday’s game has been postponed as well**
